My therapeutic practice focuses on understanding the multidimensional causes of speech and language disorders, and implementing a holistic treatment approach encompassing the cognitive, social-emotional, sensory, and physical needs of each individual. I will try to answer any questions or concerns you may have and together we will analyze and plan next steps. The goal of coaching is to guide parents to integrate engaging yet functional routines that are developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant within the context of each home. Research has shown that parent coaching and caregiver-implemented plans contribute to the success of a child’s progression within the therapy sessions and, therefore, the improvement of their developmental skills.
